There’s nothing like seeing a new or unexpected breakout greet you in the morning as you look in the mirror and it’s not fun. we’ve been there! Since there are many things that can contribute to acne (genetics, food sensitivities, hormones, etc) it’s easy to feel helpless or overwhelmed in the process of figuring out how to stop the breakouts. Sensitivity, redness, dryness and possibly purging (one in four people experience purging) are not unexpected as you start to use certain products. It can take 6-8 weeks to adjust to a skincare regimen. *If your acne is moderate or severe, it is probably best to be seen in-person so that a skincare specialist can put you on a tailored regimen with prescription topicals/medications.
